Job Title: Order Scheduler/Planner
Reporting to the Planning Manager, The Order Scheduler/Planner will work as part of the Sales Operations Team to plan and manage orders, ensuring customer on-time delivery and ensuring shipping specification needs are met.
ERP System experience is a plus!
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent 3-5 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
- Able to apply good judgment when making decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Good work ethics - self-disciplined with the ability to work with little supervision
- Strong knowledge of scheduling activities in production or distribution environment
- Excellent analytical, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet shipping deadlines
- Strong computer skills: Intermediate proficiency in Excel is required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily Customer order scheduling and allocating parts to Sales Orders based on customer’s PO and business requirements
- Responsible for coordinating third party value add services with outside vendors for Flip Customer orders, working with Sales
- Performing timely and accurate processing of schedule updates and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of any changes to order schedules
- Monitoring and resolving supply issues with suppliers, driving resolution
- Proactively taking steps to minimize OCD (original commit date) delivery slips
- Responsible for achieving and improving customer shipping performance by monitoring lead time scheduling issues to determine root causes and drive solutions
