Quality Control Manager

Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Quality Manager is a supervisory position integral to coordinating operational activities. The role’s primary objective is to ensure that received and shipped materials align with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. The Quality Manager develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure the Quality Control team adheres closely to company standards in the daily testing of products received and shipped to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive daily Quality Control (QC) results and exemplify excellence for the QC Inspection Team.
- Ensure incoming materials comply with applicable Customer, Statutory, and Regulatory Requirements.
- Actively participate in daily QC inspection activities, including QC inspections and processing Customer and Vendor returns (RMA’s and VRMA’s).
- Provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to the QC Team.
- Offer support to external departments by providing quality and technical advice related to QC activities.
- Provides recommendations to the Flip Electronics Material Review Board.
- Review sales, purchasing, and operations documentation to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Monitor QC Team Performance and lead Training/Development initiatives for continual improvement.
- Manage Nonconforming material.
- Assist senior management by providing reporting on relevant business activities.
- Manage and monitor record-keeping activities by the QC Inspectors.
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in related field with supervisory experience
- Experience with data reporting and document analysis (required)
- Experience with U.S. Export Control regulations (recommended)
Certifications and Licenses:
- IDEA-ICE-3000 Certification as a Professional Inspector (required)
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
