For components no longer available through conventional channels, Flip Electronics Manufacturing Services (FMS) provides authorized licensed semiconductor manufacturing that helps OEMs and manufacturers extend product lifecycles, support legacy platforms, and avoid costly redesigns.
The History of Flip Electronics
Flip Electronics was founded in 2015 on a simple realization: the electronic component industry was underserved in how it handled excess and End-of-Life (EOL) semiconductor inventory. While much of the industry viewed aging inventory as something to liquidate, Flip recognized its value to OEMs that still depended on those components.
Flip took a different approach, building direct relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and developing a business around the value of specialized EOL inventory. By combining authorized manufacturer relationships, traceability, and a deep understanding of component lifecycle challenges, Flip created greater value from inventory that others often overlooked.
Those relationships became the foundation for Flip's growth and expanded the company's role from an authorized distributor into a partner for managing semiconductor lifecycles. Today, Flip provides authorized distribution, proactive obsolescence management, and licensed semiconductor manufacturing to help manufacturers address component challenges as products and technologies age.

Give-A-Flip, Employee-led outreach
Making a Difference Beyond Electronics - since launching Give-A-Flip in 2020, Flip Electronics employees have turned our commitment to giving back into meaningful action in the communities where we live and work.
Each year, our team collects and donates more than 100 toys, supporting holiday giving efforts through Toys for Tots and the Foster Care Support Foundation. Our employees also roll up their sleeves every December for an annual volunteer day at Old Rucker Farm, helping tackle priority projects that advance its work in sustainability and local food production.
Our efforts have also supported locally rooted and national organizations, including FurKids, an animal rescue and shelter; Operation Gratitude, which supports military and first responder communities; and the American Kidney Fund, which helps those affected by kidney disease. Lastly, when natural disasters and unexpected hardships affect our own teammates or communities in need, our team steps up to raise funds and provide support where it’s needed most.
