Product Manager

General Description/Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President and General Manager of Resurgent Manufacturing Services, the Product manager will act as the quarterback for Resurgent order fulfillment and production control responsibilities. The Product Manager will collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, planning, purchasing, and warehouse operations, as well as third-party customers and vendors to ensure all are in alignment. The Product Manager is a critical role in a fast-paced, high growth organization, aligning business objectives by understanding customer needs, the market, and products, maximizing profitability. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers and Resurgent sales personnel through quote to cash business processes, including sales order processing, confirmation, and customer communications
  • Coordinate sales order and production backlogs, working with Planning and Purchasing to execute on defined on-time delivery metrics to meet customer requirements 
  • Manage Customer Expedites with Resurgent Suppliers and internal Planning team
  • Serve as daily point of contact with Resurgent vendors, OSATs, etc. to ensure production starts to fill identified customer demand 
  • Responsible for production forecast and communication of forecast to the supply chain
  • Execute on production and purchase orders to suppliers 
  • Communicate factory schedule changes with customers
  • Prepare KPI dashboard and performance metrics for regular business reviews
  • Assist Distributor Point of Sales (POS) Reconciliation, working with Finance and Operations
  • Customer Master Files management / set up, requirements, etc.
  • Coordinate completion and receipt of required Export documents
  • Supplier Program Management, including Distributor Stock Rotations


Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field such as business, economics, supply chain, or communication preferred
  • 3 years of related experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Production control for a Manufacturing organization

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications
  • Works well within a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to details

  • Capable and confident in spearheading initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic

Tools, Equipment and Software Proficiency:

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - PC proficient with thorough understanding of MS Office applications; Advanced Excel skills required
  • ERP and MRP Software - end-to-end solution for connecting and managing all processes
  • Comfortable with modern computer technologies (cloud storage, file upload/download) 
  • ECM Software - Shared Company Drive
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
  • EDI
