Sr. Business Operations Analyst

General Description/Position Summary:

As a Senior Business Operations Analyst, you will work closely with the COO and in collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Flip’s Executive team to help Flip execute its strategic agenda.

This role will heavily focus on financial and operational reporting and modeling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly financial and operational analyses to inform business decisions
  • Assist with Board of Directors presentation materials and Board-driven initiatives
  • Execute inventory and expense modeling to drive margin optimization and effective inventory strategies
  • Enhance utilization of NetSuite ERP, e-commerce website, and other systems to support organizational growth and further business success
  • Analyze strategic business opportunities, including organic and inorganic growth initiatives
  • Help manage Flip’s financial health and support financing / capitalization initiatives (organic as well as M&A activity)
  • Adhere to the company core values and mission as a guide for daily actions.
  • Perform all other duties as required and directed by management.

Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of finance, corporate development, business operations experience (with a preference for direct distribution experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Utility team player – this role is for an individual that will contribute throughout the organization and be involved in a wide variety of projects, tasks, and responsibilities to help Flip scale
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of financial modelling and performing financial / operational analyses
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior work ethic and ability to manage projects with minimal direct oversight
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Tools, Equipment, Software:

  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) - - PC proficient with thorough understanding of MS Office applications; Advanced Excel skills desired
  • Communication Platform - Zoom, Teams
  • ERP Software - end-to-end solution for connecting and managing all processes.
  • ECM Software - Shared Company Drive - - Comfortable with modern computer technologies (cloud storage, file upload/download)
  • Networking – LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc
  • Adobe

  • Office
