Quality Control Manager

The Quality Control Manager is a nonsupervisory role that orchestrates operational activities to ensure that received and shipped material meets all statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.


  • Manage, support, and perform quality control inspections of incoming material
  • Manage, support, and perform material storage
  • Support, and perform shipping activities
  • Provide recommendations to the Flip Electronics Material Review Board
  • Review sales, purchasing, and operations documentation to ensure compliance to the quality management system requirements
  • Support sales activities through technical advice
  • Assist senior management by providing reporting on business activities
  • Manage and maintain the Flip Electronics’ Electrostatic Sensitive Device program
  • Record keeping

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification in Electronic Component Inspection required

Minimum Previous Experience:

  • Experience with data reporting and document analysis
  • Experience with U.S. Export Control regulations


  • Proficiency in ERP system concepts
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team building, conflict resolution, and problem solving
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple diverse projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to use considerable judgment, initiative, and independence
  • Ability to hear and speak well enough to converse over telephone 100% of the time
  • Ability to see well enough to use computer efficiently and read computer reports and correspondence 100% of the time
  • Read, speak, and understand English fluently
