Operations Technician

The Operations Technician is a nonsupervisory role that is tasked with performing the activities associated with the receipt, storage, and shipping of materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative receipt of incoming material according to Flip’s quality management system
  • Perform material storage and inventory activities according to Flip’s quality management system
  • Perform shipping activities according to Flip’s quality management system and other statutory and regulatory authorities
  • Review sales, purchasing, and operations documentation to ensure compliance to the quality management system requirements
  • Support sales activities through technical advice
  • Recordkeeping
  • General housekeeping of Operations areas
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Previous Experience:

  • Experience with data reporting and document analysis
  • Experience with U.S. Export Control regulations

Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP system concepts
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple diverse projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to use considerable judgment, initiative, and independence
  • Ability to hear and speak well enough to converse over telephone 100% of the time
  • Ability to see well enough to use computer efficiently and read computer reports and correspondence 100% of the time
  • Read, speak, and understand English fluently
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours or more
